# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • Ready in the time it takes to brew coffee, but tastes like you put in real effort
  • Uses pantry staples you probably already have sitting around
  • Rich enough to feel indulgent but light enough you wont need a nap after
  • The hot and cold contrast keeps every bite interesting
02 -
  • Broilers are wildly inconsistent, so stay nearby and peek every 30 seconds or youll go from melted to charred in a blink
  • Season the avocado before you spread it, not after, or the seasoning just sits on top instead of blending through
  • Use bread thats slightly stale or day old because fresh soft bread turns to mush under the weight and heat
03 -
  • Rub the toasted bread with a cut garlic clove before spreading the avocado for a subtle savory layer
  • Use a mix of mozzarella and a sharp cheese like aged cheddar for more complexity
  • Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top at the very end, the crunch and burst of salinity make each bite feel special
